August 15, 2010. Deadline for abstract submission.
Submissions concerning original contributions within the scope of the congress are invited. They will be reviewed by the International Scientific Committee of the Congress.

August 31, 2010. Notification of acceptance of oral/posters papers to authors (e-mail).
The abstracts of the accepted contributions will be published in CD format and distributed to all registered participants at the beginning of the Congress. All authors of accepted abstracts will be asked to send an extended version of 5 pages.

September 30, 2010. Deadline for submission of the in-extenso version of accepted contributions (5 pages).
The Proceedings of the Congress will be published in CD format distributed to all registered participants at the beginning of the Congress. Selected contributions will be published after the meeting as a special edition book.

Guidelines for Submission of Abstracts

TOPIC: 10 pt, Times New Roman

 

 

Title (centered), Times New Roman (12 pt) in BOLD, first letter of each word in capitals. Max. 150 characters.

 

Authors (Times New Roman, 10 pt), centered; last name followed by a comma and initials in capital letters. Example: Hernández, J. V.

Times New Roman (12 pt). Margins: 2.5 cm top, left and right. No more than 350 words will be allowed. It is written as a single paragraph. It must be concise including the objective, a brief and detailed description of the methodology in order to understand how the research was made, including: experimental designs and statistical analysis conducted, characteristics of the experimental subject (if applicable), description of the research facilities if it is considered necessary; treatments, as well as the response variables to be evaluated, must be clearly described. Results must be clearly presented, indicating statistical differences and level of significance. It must have the opinion of the author as a concluding remark. Do not include figures, tables or references. A maximum of five key words must be presented at the end of the summary in brackets. Presentation at the Congress will be given in English or Spanish, but abstracts and extended abstracts must be written in English. Accepted abstract will be published on the CD proceedings of the Congress.

Guidelines for Submission of In-extenso

Title (centered), Times New Roman, Font Size 12, Bold, Capitalize Each Word

 

Authors: First name, and last name of all authors. Last name followed by a comma and initials in capital letters. Font Times New Roman size 10.

Addresses: Name of the institution, laboratory, postal codes, city-Country. If more than one affiliation is listed, please use 1, 2, 3 to number them. Email address of the corresponding author must also be included. Font Times New Roman size 11.

Subtitles: Times New Roman, font size 12, bold

The extended summary should include introduction, methods and materials, results and discussion with possible tables and figures (black and white), and references. References: use of numbers (1) in the text, reference list including names of the authors, title of the publication, year, volume and page numbers (Times new roman, font size 11).

Margin (left, right, top, bottom): 2.5 cm.

Document must be supplied in Word format

Poster presentation
The dimensions for poster stands are WIDTH 95 cm and HEIGHT 115 cm.

Oral presentation
All oral presentations are limited to a maximum of 15 minutes. Your talk should be 10-12 minutes with an additional 3-5 minutes for questions.
